Today in class we read a few pages and answered questions 3,4, and 5.
3. What limits were there on the power of the Roman consuls?
They could only serve for one year, and one consul could always overrule the others decision.
4. What was the significance of the twelve tables?
They were laws that were passed by the government and written down so that all citizens must be treated equally before them.
5. How was Hannibal's attack on Rome daring and different?
He took his army over the Alps and surprise the Romans from the north.
Emma, you don't have to write the notes in your paper notebook, but you DO have to put them in your blog so I can see them. Thanks! Let me know when you do so I can give you full credit.
